Basic ObedienceAny age, any breed, any size- all dogs benefit from basic training! Basic lessons can cover anything from crate training, recall, and leash walking skills, to fun tricks and games, potty training, and socialization!
Service DogsFor individuals with a disability and dogs with the correct temperament- all in-person service dog teams MUST pass an in-person evaluation (which will take place in a pet-friendly public location), and all virtual teams must first take the 'Service Dogs 101' virtual workshop, to determine if virtual lessons are right for you.
**Please note that we do NOT train guide dogs for the blind & visually impaired- guide dog training is even more specialized and intensive than other kinds of service dogs. For guide dog resources, please visit https://www.igdf.org.uk/ Rally & ObedienceRally has quickly become one of my favorite dog sports- it puts a dog & handler's relationship to the test in a fun, challenging, yet practical way! Learn all about trialing in rally (whether you plan to do so in-person or online), titling, signs for each level, and more! To learn more about rally, click here: https://www.akc.org/sports/rally/
Deaf dogsWhile deaf dogs are just as capable of learning everything hearing dogs can, they have a different way of communicating! Learn all about how to communicate with your deaf, blind, or deaf/blind dog
Training PhilosophyUtilizing positive reinforcement focused methods, with an emphasis on fulfilling and building a relationship with your dog, we strive to find the best training plan for you and your dog. We have a firm understanding of learning theory as well as dog behavior and body language.
Credentials & EducationI am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer- Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), as well as a Service Dog Coach (SDC) through Cooperative Paws. I also have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.

Walking
Pricing |
|
-Let outs (quick trip out to potty) start at $15
-Regular walks start at $20/dog (or $35 for two dogs that can be walked together), and are roughly 15-20minutes, around the block or wherever you normally walk your dog. -Training walks (Walk 'N' Trains) start at $40/dog (dogs may not be walked together, training is individualized)! -Field trips (COMING SOON) Walk 'N' TrainsWalk 'N' Trains are for dogs who may need a little more work or structure while out for a walk; we work on behaviors such as heel, leave it, loose leash walking, neutrality towards people and other dogs, and other important leash walking skills.
Why choose us?Having your dog walked by a trainer has its benefits, even if we are not actively training; I can help prevent any lapses in training (such as reactivity training), and have knowledge on handling that others may not. We do not allow on leash greetings with unknown dogs or people, take special care when encountering others, carry treats (for all walks, not just Walk 'N'Trains), carry pet corrector to prevent dog fights (Pet Corrector is a can of compressed air; if an aggressive off-leash dog were to approach, it is likely to scare them away without harming them), and advocate for your dog. All walking clients will be walked with a Fi GPS collar for extra peace of mind, and regular walking clients will have the option to get their own Fi series 3+ for free.
